Leona M. Sturtz, 83, of Lanark, IL, passed away on September 9, 2020 at home. She was born on February 19, 1937 in Freeport, IL, to Evan and Helen (Weigel) Lewis. She married Gary Sturtz on June 9, 1956. She worked as a tax preparer and farmer.

Survivors include her sons: Craig A. Sturtz and Terry L. (Janet) Sturtz.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Gary, and her brothers, Ray and Lee.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday September 12, 2020 at 1:30 PM, at the Russell-Frank Funeral Home, 111 N. High St. in Lanark, IL, with Dawn Barr officiating. Friends may call at 12 noon until the time of service. Burial will be at Lanark City Cemetery. A memorial has been established in her name.
