Leona Flickinger, 95, of Freeport, IL, and formerly of Pearl City, IL, passed away January 5, 2022 at Parkview Home. She was born February 15, 1926 in rural Pearl City, to Walter and Lena (Brinkmeier) Baldauf. She married Charles Flickinger on April 27, 1946.

Survivors include her daughter, Carol (Roy) Clements of Algonquin, IL, grandchildren: Michelle (Phillip) Jacobs of Huntley, IL and Scott Clements of Algonquin, IL; and great-grandchildren: Rylen Jacobs, Bentley Jacobs, and Mason Jacobs.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Charles, and a sister, Lucille Goodrich.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday January 11, 2022 at 2 PM, with visitation from 12 noon until time of service, at Schwarz Park Blvd Chapel, 608 S. Park Blvd in Freeport, IL.

Rev. Ellis Boughton will officiate. Interment at Highland Cemetery in Pearl City. A memorial has been established.
