Lanny Plowman, 75, of Freeport, IL, passed away on Sunday July 2, 2023 at Ascension Living Saint Joseph Village. He was born on November 10, 1947 in Freeport, to Edward L. and Marjorie (Phillips) Plowman. He married Sheila A. Boeck on June 8, 1996 in Freeport. He worked at Modern Plating over 30 years. He also worked in the towing business.

Survivors include his wife Sheila Plowman, son Lonny Plowman, daughters: Ashley (Matt) Taskey, Melissa (Tyler) Vogt, and Cassandra Knight; 10 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and sister Gail Ter Hark.

He was preceded in death by both parents, sister Marsha Kraft, and brother-in-law Gerry Ter Hark.
