Kenneth Rausch Sr. (Barney), 93, of Lanark, IL, passed away on June 18, 2022, at FHN. He was born on August 20, 1928, in Shannon, IL, to George and Marian (Morhardt) Rausch. He graduated from Shannon High School and on June 12, 1950, married Joan D. Rogers. He was a retired Ready-Mix driver. He also was a member of the Lanark Church of the Brethren, and the American Pony Association.

Survivors include Barbara (Lanny) Eastabrooks of Milledgeville, Kathy (Dave) Trobaugh of Mt. Carroll, Mike (Debra) Rausch of Lanark, Kenneth Jr. (Julie) of Pearl City, 7 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife Joan Rausch, infant son Kevin, sister Pearl Rogers, brother Wilbur Rausch, parents George and Marian Rausch, and special friend Francis Fredrick.

Funeral service will be held on Friday June 24, 2022, at 11 AM, with visitation at 10 AM until time of service, at the Lanark Church of the Brethren, 326 S. High St. in Lanark, IL.

Interment at Lanark Cemetery. A memorial has been established in his memory.
