Kenneth Alan Holland, 75 of Freeport, died Saturday November 8, after a short illness.  Kenneth was born April 16, 1950 in Freeport, Illinois to Elmer and Thelma (Lucille Frederick) Holland.  Kenneth was a Freeport High School graduate and was employed for several years at Kelly Springfield, Stephenson County Sheriff's Department and Newell Brands before he retired.

He enjoyed family get-togethers, and he was a favorite uncle to his all of his many nieces and nephews.  He loved light houses, and you could quickly tell that as soon as you walked into his home.  He was well known for being one of the members of the McDonald's Coffee Guys.  He also enjoyed spending time in Krape Park at lunchtime enjoying the beauty of nature around him.

He is survived by his sisters, Carol (Paul) Detwiler, Marilyn VanDrew and brother-in-law Ernie Veer.  He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Shirley Veer, Kathryn Slaght and brother John Holland.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday November 29, 2025 at 9:30 a.m. at the Beltline Café in Freeport, IL.
