On December 7th, 2025 Julianne (Clark) Brady lost her battle with leukemia. Known by many as Mimi, she was a caregiver through and through, even until the end. Julianne was the type of person who would do anything to help you through a rough spot, from buying plane tickets to having you over for a meal. Julianne was born on January 28th, 1951, to Robert and Dorothy (Bell) Clark, in Oelwein, IA. In 1969, she left small-town Iowa to attend Nursing School in Freeport, IL. She graduated from Freeport Memorial School of Nursing in 1972. She started working third shift in the Freeport Memorial ER where she would handle traumas and codes without a doctor. Julianne welcomed her first daughter, Melissa, in 1973, and her second daughter, Jessica, in 1977. Some of her fondest moments were made while taking her daughters on Girl Scout trips all over the country. One of her most memorable jobs was Saint Francis school for exceptional children, where she took care of special needs children. The job was challenging but rewarding. The last 26 years of her nursing career, she was the DON at Sojourn House, where she helped individuals who struggled with addiction.

Julianne enjoyed swimming, camping, road-trips with her girlfriends, as well as quality time with her many family members. To know her was to be her friend.

Julianne is preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy (Bell) Clark; her father, Robert Clark; her eldest daughter, Melissa (Brady) Farshtchi; her Aunt Sharon (Bell) Offenheiser; her uncle, Gene Offenheiser; her Aunt Carol (Bell) Payne; her Uncle Earl Payne; and loved cousins. She leaves behind her daughter, Jessica (Brady) Scharff of Maquoketa, IA. As well as her many grandchildren, Makenna Farshtchi or Pearl City, IL; Logan (Wendy) Huizenga of California City, CA; Amelia Huizenga of Hoffman Estates, IL; Molly Farshtchi-Pehl (Matthew) of Freeport, IL; Miranda Farshtchi of Pearl City, IL; Dawson Schutte of North Hartsville, SC; Evelynn Scharff of Maquoketa, IA; and Emerson Scharff of Maquoketa, IA. She also leaves behind her great-grandsons, Lucah, Miller and one expected in 2026; her honorary daughter, Heidi Foster; Robert Brady; cousins; friends; and her loyal pug, Lita.

Her family would like to say a special thank you to the healthcare professionals at FHN who helped their beloved Angel transition to her heavenly home.

Her Celebration of Life will be held at the Cedarville Fire Station, 245 N. Stephenson St in Cedarville, IL, on Sunday December 21st at 1pm. A luncheon will follow.
