In Loving Memory of Julian Galindo Beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great-Grandfather, Brother, and Friend.

With deep sorrow in our hearts, we announce the passing of Julian Galindo, who departed this life on July 25, 2025. A cherished soul, Julian leaves behind a legacy of unwavering love, strength, and devotion to his family and homeland.

Julian was the devoted husband Teodora Canales, with whom he shared a beautiful 55-year marriage—a union built on trust, laughter, resilience, and deep love. Together they built a family grounded in unity and care.

He is survived by his beloved wife Teodora Canales, and their children: Ana, Claudia, Aleyda, Elsy, Lesly, Elmer, Ana Maria, and Julian Jr., who continue his legacy of wisdom, strength, and love. He is also survived by his siblings: Saul, Miguel, Ramon, Nina, and Maria, who shared life's journey with him and held a special place in his heart.

Julian's memory will forever live on in his 23 grandchildren: Gaby, Osiely, Paul, Katherine, Esthefany, Joseph, Jafet, Amy,Nataly, Isaiah, Rachel, Lesly, Juana, Aleyda, Josue, Fernando, Julio, Yelena, Sol and Zack; and his great-grandchildren: Genesis, Edward, Kenneth, Sophia, Yara, Evan, and Mia, who filled his life with joy and pride.

Although he made his home in the United States, Julian never stopped loving or believing in the future of his beloved homeland, Honduras. A loyal and passionate supporter of the Liberal Party, he carried the ideals of justice and progress wherever he went. His loyalty to his country and his principles never wavered.

A visitation will be held on Saturday August 9, 2025, from 1 PM - 5 PM, at the Iglesia Jehová-Nissi Church, 1421 W. Galena Ave Freeport, IL.
