Judy Petta, 78, of Freeport, IL, passed away on October 9, 2025 at FHN. She was born on December 24, 1946 in Freeport to Floyd and Rita Tyrell. She married John Petta on July 3, 1965 in Freeport. She was a beautician and a member of St. Joe's Church. She was a devoted wife and mother. She volunteered at the Freeport Humane Society, where she loved caring for cats and dogs.

Survivors include her husband John, son Steven, and son-in-law John Petta II
