Juanita Mae (Staas) Perkins, 80, of Freeport, IL, passed away June 4, 2022, at FHN. She was born December 7, 1941, in Freeport, to Robert and Belva (Weller) Staas. She was married for 18 years to Lawrence Janike, Sr., and later Blannie Perkins for 22 years. Both would precede her in death.

Survivors include her daughter Debra Wilhelms, sons: Lawrence Janike, Jr., Jesse (Mindy) Janike, Jason Perkins, and Justin (Laura) Perkins; 9 granddaughters, 2 grandsons, 9 great-granddaughters, 6 great-grandsons, sister Judy Paluzzi, brother Richard (Marilee) Staas, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, both spouses, 2 sisters, 1 brother, and 1 son-in-law.

Inurnment at Lightsville Cemetery in Leaf River, IL. Service will be held at a later date.
