Joyce Fay Rabey, 70, of Freeport, IL, passed away on May 11, 2024 at FHN. She was born on May 5, 1954 in Dayton, Ohio, to Delon and Ruby Brown. She married Mark Rabey in Freeport on August 16, 2003. She was a CNA for 35 years, and breakfast attendant at the Freeport Hampton Inn for 8 years.

Survivors include her husband Mark Rabey, children: Traci (Anthony) Holloway of Freeport, and Amy (Brian) Filer of Davis, IL; grandchildren: Matthew (Breanna) Bradt of Brodhead, WI, Tony Bradt of Beloit, WI, Jordan (Rachel) Filer of Janesville, WI, and Trey (Joann Johnson) Chambers of Freeport; great-grandchildren: Bentley, Brailey, and Huntley Bradt, Kaylee and Jaxsen Dubick; brother Larry (Lesli) Brown, and several nieces and nephews.

Joyce looked forward to Sunday family dinners and her family time.

A visitation will be held on Saturday May 18, 2024, from 9AM - 11AM, with a memorial service following at 11AM, at the Schwarz Park Blvd Chapel, 608 S. Park Blvd in Freeport. A luncheon will follow in the lower level of the chapel.

A memorial has been established in her name.
