Joseph R. Lisk, 77, of Freeport, IL, passed away on June 17, 2025 surrounded by family. He was born on October 28, 1947 in Savanna, IL, to Milo Lisk and Freda Louise (Holland) Lisk. He graduated from Elizabeth High School and on April 2, 1977, married Patricia Mae Barta in Galena, IL. He was a bead wrapper ay Kelly-Springfield for 38 ½ years. He was a member of the catholic church, as well as the moose lodge, Eagle's club, and bowled on many leagues.

Survivors include his wife Pat, brothers: Don Lisk and John Lisk; sister Mila Shere, stepchildren: Chris (Tim) Dorsey, Lisa (Jim) Kerr, and William Brown; grandchildren: Brandon Dorsey, Tana Brown, Chance Dorsey, Joshua Kerr, Paige Kerr, Jordan Kerr, Aiden Kerr; children: Todd, Tammy, and Tonya; and several great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters: Lila, Paula, and Martha; brother-in-law Merle Shere, and stepson James.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday June 24, 2025 at 11 AM, at the Oakland Mausoleum in Freeport, IL.
