John Charles Ness, 75, of Lena, IL, passed away on February 20, 2024. He was born in Freeport, IL, to John and Dorothy Ness. He attended the DeVry Institute of Technology in Chicago. He served in the US Army, and was an electrician by trade. He was a member of the Antique Engine Club and enjoyed working on the Train of Terror event each October with friend Roger Seefeldt.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his partner Patricia Powell.
