John W. McGee, 74, died on October 27, 2023 at FHN Memorial Hospital. John was born on May 10, 1949 to Roxy and Mary McGee in Morgantown, West Virginia. He married Janet on August 31, 1984. John retired from Danfoss as a machinist after more than twenty years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and a good time.

John is survived by his wife Janet, daughter Kimberley (Dan) Waisner, step-daughter Dawn (Jonathan) Hoefle, brother Frank McGee, two sisters: Laura Rabey and Barbara (Gerald) Rothchild, three grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

John was preceded in death by his parents, son, brother James, brother-in-law, and two sisters-in-law.

John will be missed by family and friends. Cremation rites have been accorded. In honoring John's wishes, no services will be held.
