Jimmy Joe Hoefer, 69, of Freeport, IL, passed away on August 18, 2021, at home. He was born on July 11, 1952, in Freeport to George and Dorothy (Penticoff) Hoefer. He married Margaret Keister on September 23, 1969, in Missouri.

Survivors include his wife Margaret Hoefer, son Christopher Hoefer, brothers George Hoefer and Lyle Hoefer, 1 stepsister, granddaughter Laia Lucia Hoefer. And many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents George and Dorothy Hoefer, and 2 sons: Jason Hoefer and Ryan Hoefer.
