Jeremy David Sturtz, Sr. of Polo, Illinois, passed away at his home on July 19, 2022. Born to parents Katherine Jo (Traum) Ehnen and David Sturtz on March 1, 1971, in Morrison, Illinois.

Jeremy's surviving family: his dad David Sturtz, wife Bonnie Sturtz, two stepsons: Cory (Heaven) Squires and Bryan (Bryttani) Barkey; brothers Scott (Cassie) Sturtz and Kevin (Cassie) Sturtz, his half-brother Chris (Cassi) Sturtz, stepbrothers: Danny (Betty) Schrader and Steve (Staci) Schrader, his sisters: Brittany (Sam) Bushman and Candy Curran, his children: Jeremy Sturtz, Jr (Christy), Kyle (Ericka) Sturtz and Trisheena (David) Sturtz; and mother-in-law Margie Thomas. Jeremy has many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Jeremy was preceded in death by his Mother Katherine Jo (Traum) Ehnen, stepmoms, Ethel Sturtz and Denise Sturtz, his half-brother Ryan Sturtz, his grandparents Phil and Betty Sturtz, and his sister-in-law Amy Sturtz.

Jeremy enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, fishing, watching the news, and keeping up on the local gossip along with many other hobbies.

There will be a service on Sunday August 7, 2022, from 1PM-4PM, at the Russell-Frank Funeral Home, 111 N. High St. in Lanark, Illinois. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday August 14, 2022, from 11AM-4PM, at the Shannon Village Park in Shannon, Illinois.
