Jeremy Allen Green, 50, beloved husband, father, son, brother and friend passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, March 16, 2024. He was born on November 23, 1973 and graduated from Dakota high School in 1991. Jeremy married the love of his life,  Sherry, on December 21, 1996 in Freeport, IL.

Jeremy took great pride in his family and loved sharing time together in the great outdoors. He especially enjoyed taking his boys camping, hiking, biking, kayaking, and fishing.  As a machinist at M.T.E. hydraulics for over 32 years, he instilled the love of working on projects with his boys. Jeremy loved cars, and you would often find him and the boys working on them together. Jeremy had a big heart, a great sense of humor, and was always willing to lend a hand.  He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his loving wife, Sherry Green, his children, Jeremiah (fiancé, Sydney, Hayunga) Green, Jacob Green, James Green, of Forreston, IL. His mother and stepfather,  Shirley and Larry Bower, of Monroe, WI. His stepmother, Ann Green, of Orangeville, IL, Sisters, Shelly (Mark) Fiene of Rock City, IL  and Tammy (Dave) Keister of Dover, TN. Brother, Tim (Kim) Green, of Orangeville, IL, Aunt Shirley (Hugh) Rushton of Clarksville, TN and many loving nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father, Arthur Green.

Visitation will be at 11:00 a.m. with service following at 1:00 p.m. at North Grove Evangelical Church, 10384 North Coffman Rd, Forreston, IL. on Saturday, March 23, 2024. A lunch reception to follow.
