Janis Faye Boehm, 81, of Rochelle, IL, passed away on December 15, 2020 at home. She was born on June 12, 1939 in Savanna, IL, to Elmer and Mildred (Trazona) Bardell. She attended Lena High School and on August 8, 1959, she married Marvin Boehm in Nora, IL. She was a member of the Harvest Baptist Church in Rochelle, IL.

Survivors include her 5 children: Jimmy (Nancy) Boehm, Ronnie Boehm, Duane (Jenni) Boehm, Donna (Dave) Huisheere, and Susan (Adam) Osmer;16 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Marvin Boehm, 2 brothers, 1 sister, and 1 son David.

A private funeral service will be held on Saturday December 19, 2020 at 11 AM, at the Nora Community Church, 210 Main St. in Nora, IL, with Rev Kurt Strong officiating. A public visitation will be held on Friday December 18, 2020 from 4-7 PM, at the Schwarz Park Blvd. Chapel, 608 S. Park Blvd. in Freeport, IL. Interment in Nora Cemetery.

Social distancing and face coverings are required at both services.
