Jacqueline Watson was 90 when she passed away on April 11, 2022, while at Presence St Joseph Nursing Home. Jackie was born June 9, 1931, in Decatur II. She was Daughter to Lenny and Stella Pate. She married Jerald Watson Sr. Sept 10, 1950. Jerry died Dec 18, 2020.

She is survived by Jerry Jr (Linda), Kathy Aupperle (Geoff Eckert) and Jon (Laura), six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Jerry and Jackie lived on Chestnut Street when they moved to Freeport in 1964. Then had a house built on Empire Ct in 1966 where they lived until their last couple of years at Presence. Jackie worked at several jobs in Freeport while raising 3 kids. Her favorite was working at Lillian's clothing store. Jackie enjoyed a long retirement spending time at their trailer in Lake Mills, Wisconsin and winters in Orange Beach, AL—rarely without visitors. Jackie loved reading, traveling, entertaining, and playing cards with family and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday April 23, 2022, at 11 AM, with visitation at 10 AM, at the Schwarz Park Blvd Chapel, 608 S. Park Blvd in Freeport, IL.
