Hilario Diaz Ramos, 94, of Freeport, IL, passed away January 21, 2022 at home. He was born May 12, 1927 in Caguas, Puerto Rico. He married Rosa Padilla Almestica on October 1, 1953 at Chicago City Hall.

Survivors include his 7 children, 25 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife Rosa Ramos, father Baudilo Ramos, mother Angelica Diaz, brother Lirio Ramos, and sister Berta Ramos.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday January 29, 2022, at 1 PM, at The Father's House Ministry, 302 W. Stephenson St. in Freeport. Osvaldo Mercado will officiate. Visitation will be held Friday January 28, 2022, from 6PM - 8PM, also at the church. Interment at Freeport City Cemetery.
