Henry F. Quintero, 90, of Freeport, IL, passed away on March 25, 2024 at FHN. He was born on November 24, 1933 in Rockford, IL, to Ben and Viola (Winters) Quintero. He worked in construction and cement finishing. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and AA.

Survivors include his 4 daughters: Anna (Russ) Tipton, Teresa (Rick Janicke) Wenger, Angela (Dennis) Schoonhoven, and Amanda (Justin) Bamberg; 1 son Dwayne (Carrie) Quintero, 13 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, 5 great- great-grandchildren, special friend Katherine (Tootie) Bender, and 1 brother Ronald (Peanuts) Quintero.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 4 sisters: Mary, Ruth, Joyce, and Delores; 3 brothers: Benny, Jim, and Raymond; and 1 grandchild Karl Schoenhard.

Services will be held on Friday March 29, 2024 at 1PM, at the Schwarz Park Blvd Chapel, 608 S. Park Blvd in Freeport, IL. Friends may call at the chapel at 11 AM until time of service. Officiating will be Pastor Zachary Klatt (Immanuel Lutheran Church), and Rev. Willis Schwichtenberg.

A memorial has been established in his name at Immanuel Lutheran Church.
