Gerald (Jerry) Harnish, passed away on April 23, 2026. He was born on January 7, 1949, to parents Delbert (Bud) and Miriam Harnish. Jerry grew up in Pearl City. He married Jody Schlamp on March 1, 1975. He worked at Goodyear Tire Plant for 31 years. After he retired, he worked at Cub Foods for 15 years. He ran the brat stand there for many years. Jerry was a wonderful husband, father, son, brother, brother-in-law, and friend. He had many friends and was always joking around with everyone. He will be greatly missed.

Survivors include his wife Jody Harnish, sister Nancy Trampel, sons: Jeremy (Christine) and Joshua (Katy); grandsons: Will and Gannon Harnish; brothers-in-law: Ray Dominguez and Bill Schlamp (Vicki); sister-in-law Sue Parkhurst (Don), nieces: Amy Mantzke and Alyssa (Jeff) Sievert; nephews: Bobby (Vicki) Mantzke, Adam (Jamie) Schlamp, Mike (Martha) Gahm, and Steve (Tammy) Gahm. He is also survived by good friends Steve (Connie) Dykstra and Don (Karen) Reeves.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Delbert (Bud) and Miriam Harnish, his father-in-law and mother-in-law, William and Jean Schlamp, and brother-in-law Steve Trampel.

A Celebration of Life will be held in July.
