Garren H. Kruse, 80, pf Pearl City, IL, passed away on December 14, 2024. He was born on July 12, 1944 in Carroll County, IL, to Charles and Iona (Dinderman) Kruse. He was a farmer all of his life, and a member of Zion Church in Freeport, IL.

Survivors include his brother Dennis Kruse of Freeport, sister Phyllis (Roger) Jacobs of Pearl City, niece Pam Bardell, and nephew Roderick Jacobs.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and 3 nephews: Scott, Randy, and Brad Kruse.

A visitation will be held on Thursday December 19, 2024, from 4PM – 6PM, at the Schwarz Park Blvd Chapel, 608 S. Park Blvd in Freeport, IL. Funeral service on Friday December 20, 2024 at 11 AM, also at the Schwarz Park Blvd Chapel, with Wayne Fischer of Zion Church of Pearl City officiating. Interment at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Freeport. A memorial has been established for Malcolm Eaton Enterprises.
