Frank Martin "Butch" DeMichele, 72, of Freeport, IL, passed away on February 17, 2021 at home, surrounded by wife and family. He was born on April 26, 1948 in Freeport, IL, to Dominic P. and Grace T. Martin. He graduated from Freeport High School in 1966. He married Betty Ann Hasken on December 21, 1968, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Freeport. He was a serviceman for the Freeport Water Department, and after retirement, he worked over 10 years in security at FHN.

Survivors include his wife Betty DeMichele, sister Lynette Simler, children: Jeremy (Sarah) DeMichele, Lesli (Larry) Brown, and Dominic DeMichele; daughter-in-law Heather DeMichele, grandchildren: Dominic DeMichele, Bailey (Xavier) Lopez, Payton, Dawson, Graysen, Addie DeMichele, Casey (Kyle) Rafferty, Kattie (Justin) Blackard, Miranda, Devin and Landon Brown, and Lexi Restivo; great-grandchildren: Maddox Lopez, Aubree and Raelynn Blackard, Scarlett Restivo, and Connor Rafferty.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and son Jason Joseph DeMichele.

A visitation will be held on Saturday February 27, 2021, from 1PM to 3PM, at the Schwarz Park Blvd Park Chapel, 608 S. Park Blvd in Freeport, IL.

A private family service will follow with Steven Gearing officiating. A memorial has been established in his name.
