Felix G. Gonzalez, 86, of Freeport, IL, passed away on February 10, 2026 at FHN. He was born on July 30, 1939 in Arecibo, Puerto Rico, to Perfecto Gonzalez and Maria Gonzalez. He married Carmen Morales in Taunton, MA, and again in Woodstock, IL. He was a caregiver at Paul A. Dever State School in Taunton, MA.

Survivors include his wife Carmen Morales, granddaughter they raised together, Roxanne Parsons-Sierra and her children, Josiah Parsons-Sierra, Saraiah Parsons-Sierra and Keziah Parsons-Sierra, Luis A. Sierra, Lucybeth Sierra & Janice Sierra (wife's adult children).

He was preceded in death by his mother Maria Gonzalez and his father Perfecto Gonzalez, and Yolanda Sierra (wife's daughter).

A funeral service will be held on Sunday February 15, 2026 at 3 PM, with visitation at 2 PM, at the Schwarz Park Blvd Chapel, 608 S. Park Blvd in Freeport, IL. Interment will be on Monday February 16, 2026 at 10 AM, at Highland Cemetery in Pearl City, IL.
