Elizabeth "Betsy" Endress, 70, of Freeport, IL, passed away on March 22, 2024 at Freeport Memorial Hospital. She was born on February 9, 1954 in Freeport, to Henry and Marian (Hubbard) Leemhuis. She attended Freeport High School and on October 4, 1980, married Dennis "Endo" Endress in Rockton, IL. She was a Secretary Monitor Tech at FHN and belonged to the Freeport USBC and Freeport USBC Hall of Fame.

Survivors include her husband, Dennis "Endo" Endress, son Thomas Endress, sisters: Marjorie Suriyamongkol and Carol (Don) Ommodt; nephews: Brandon (Amanda) Endress, Dan (JiJi) Suriyamongkol, and Jason (Kathryn) Ommodt; niece Erin (Tim) Weber, numerous great nieces and nephews, and special friends: Bonnie Huenefeld and Sherry Boals.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, parents, brother George Leemhuis, and sister-in-law Susan (Endress) Schneiderman.

A visitation will be held on Saturday March 30, 2024, from 9 AM to 12 noon, at the Schwarz Park Blvd Chapel, 608 S. Park Blvd in Freeport. A short memorial service will follow with Pastor Larry Tyner officiating. A Celebration of Life will be held afterwards at 2 PM at Eilerts in Freeport.

A memorial has been established in her memory in lieu of flowers.
