Paul Carter, 69, of Freeport, IL, passed away on September 12, 2025 at home. He was born on May 10, 1956 in Freeport, IL.

Survivors include his 2 daughters: Alliyah Carter and Chantel Carter; significant other Martha Hooker, 3 sisters: Betty Johnson and Roy Johnson, Zellia Jackson and Gilbert Jackson, Christine Green and Chris Verser; Nieces and nephews: Crystal & James Johnson, Schara & Kefa Kaba, Anthony Coleman & Miranda Coleman, Antonio Carter, Edward Carter & Lelia Carter, Kjohnti Upshaw & Tasha Upshaw, Willie Carter, Larice Bell, Dre Green, Orece Green, Troy Verser, and many cousins.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday September 20, 2025 at 11 AM, with visitation at 10 AM, at the Schwarz Park Blvd Chapel, 608 S. Park Blvd in Freeport, IL. Daniel Williamson Sr will officiate.
