Edward T. Heck, 93, of Freeport, IL, passed away on June 9, 2022, at Ascension St. Joseph Village. He was born on March 11, 1929, in Freeport, to Henry and Mary (Ward) Heck. He married Marion E. Harris in Freeport on May 7, 1949. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Survivors include his wife Marion E. Heck, 4 sons: Joseph (Cheri) of Brantford, Ontario, William (Patricia) of Freeport, Gerald of Elizabeth, IL, and Steven (Michele) of Freeport; one daughter, Julie Heck of Freeport, 16 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers: Joseph, James, Russell, and Hubert; 3 sisters: Edna, Fran, and Helen; and 2 grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday June 16, 2022, at 1 PM, with visitation at 11 AM until time of service, at Schwarz Park Blvd Chapel, 608 S. Park Blvd in Freeport.
