Diana C. Carroll, 60, of Freeport, IL, passed away on January 8, 2023 at home. She was born on June 26, 1962 in Chicago, IL, to Jakob Gaertner and Shirley Carter McGee. She married Dale Monroe Tucker in the summer of 1980.

Survivors include her son Dale Tucker, 2 daughters: Amber (Jon) Perfecto and Melissa Carroll; 5 grandchildren: Brandon, Kyle, Lyndsey, Meaghan, and Ace Dale; brother Jakob Gaertner, sister Kathy Bradley, brother-in-law Mr. Chen (Mat Bradley), sister-in-law Katty Gaertner, and 4 nieces and nephews, Zach, Sam, Courtney, and Brianna, and Papa Frank.

She was preceded in death by her husband Dale Monroe Tucker, son Joshua Tucker, father Jakob Gaertner, and mother Shirley McGee.

Visitation will be held on Thursday January 12, 2023, from 3 PM - 9 PM, at the Schwarz Park Blvd Chapel, 608 S. Park Blvd in Freeport.

Cremation rites have been accorded.
