David Andrew Reeves Jr, 75, of Carmel, In, passed away on December 25th 2024 in Freeport IL of congestive heart failure. He was born on November 24th 1949 in Indianapolis, Indiana to David Reeves Sr. and Sarah (Sally) Reeves of Carmel In. and was a loving father to Teresa and Tammy Howe.

Dad was hard-working and dedicated. He spent his early years working as a Union Pipefitter where he was known for his dedication and sense of humor. His later years were spent delivering medical supplies throughout Indiana and a regular Indy Star delivery route in the Hamilton County IN area. Despite his many responsibilities, he always made time for his family and his passions.Though Dad may not have liked being the center of attention, he deserves to have his long years of fatherly love honored. He was a man of kindness and generosity, and he left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.

Dad's hobbies and interests helped define who he was. He enjoyed professional and college sports as well as horse racing.  He was a big fan of the Colts and IU basketball. He was secretly a great cook, often spending his weekends watching games and creating great meals. His love for football and horse racing was something he shared with his children, leaving a mark on us that will never fade.

He is survived by his daughters Teresa and Tammy Howe and their mother Shirley Jueal, his brother William Reeves, "his" cat Rusty, as well as his nephews Mike Reeves, Brandon Reeves, and Jason Reeves and his nieces Brooke and Paige Reeves, and his many friends and extended family members who will miss him dearly. He is preceded by David Reeves Sr.(father), Sally Reeves (mother) and Larry Reeves (brother).

We find comfort in knowing that Dad's legacy lives on through the lessons he taught us, the love he shared, his generosity, his sense of humor including the silly jokes and songs he made up and all the memories we will cherish forever.

The immediate family will be having a private service in Freeport IL at Schwarz Funeral Home. His final resting place will be in Crawfordsville, IN to be laid to rest with his parents in a small memorial service in the summer of 2025. Friends and Family will be notified.
