David F. Landmeier, 76, passed away on June 4, 2021, at Liberty Village in Freeport, IL. He was born on April 7, 1945, in Des Plaines, IL, to Franklin and Hilda Landmeier. He was a 1963 graduate of Mt. Prospect High School. He married Teresa Jane Casey on August 5, 1967 in Elk Grove Village, IL. He was a 4 ^th generation Farmer/Truck Driver. David and his brother Lynn ran a local Grain Elevator and farmed together for over 40 years in rural Kane County.

Survivors include his children: Julie (Brad) Huber of Forreston, IL, and Katherine (Omar Perez) Landmeier of Evergreen, CO; brother Lynn (Betty) Landmeier of Elgin, IL, sister Lois (Odell) Malone of Mt. Prospect, IL, two grandchildren: Nate Purser and Mateo Perez; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife Teresa, his parents and younger brother.

A private memorial will be held at a later date.
