Cynthia (Cindy) J Kurth, 68, of Browntown WI, went to be with the Lord on August 31, 2026 surrounded by her family. She fought an odds-defying battle with cancer for two years giving her family more much needed time with her. She was a gifted care giver at Graceland Manor for 25 years. Cindy was an avid reader and loved watching her court shows! Her favorite time was spent with her family and all of her “Rockford kids”. She was mom to everyone and loved by all! 

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John (Jack) Kurth, her mother, sister, and four brothers. 

She is survived by her father, Frank Patterson, a sister, two brothers, daughter Shannon (Jason) Fisher, son Greg (Mari) Mittelsteadt, son Jeramy (Tsia) Calow, daughter Michelle (Robert) Larrabee, six grandsons, two granddaughters, four great grandchildren, and her best friend Jodie Neuschwander. 

Cindy did not want the formality of a funeral, instead she wanted everyone to celebrate her life. We will be having this celebration on Saturday October 24th from 4 PM-9 PM at the Eagles Club, 3829 11th St in Rockford, IL. The family looks forward to seeing you all.
