Curt (Curtis/Cuffer) Scheuerman, 58, of Dixon, IL, formerly of Mt. Carroll, IL, passed away January 24, 2022. Curt was born on June 11, 1963 in Jefferson, IA, the son of Jim and Jan Scheuerman. Curt was also the son of biological mom Sandra Murphy (Scheuerman). Curt went to school at Collins-Maxwell High School in Maxwell, IA, graduating in 1983. In 1994, he had his one and only daughter, whom he loved very much, Hannah Baker. Curt drove semi for 30 plus years and drove for such companies as Dorhn, Kness, and Bibler. In 2013, Curt ended his career as a semi driver. Curt lived as a farm help and worked other jobs as well. In January 2021, Curt was finally able to love his grandson Liam Larkey, whom he also loved dearly and enjoyed every minute with.

Curt is survived by his daughter, Hannah Baker of Mt. Carroll, IL, grandson, Liam Larkey of Mt. Carroll, IL, father, Jim Scheuerman of Boxholm, IA, sister, Michelle (Jason) Jors Zander of Boone, IA, two brothers: Doug Scheuerman and Charlie Scheuerman, and many nieces and nephews.

Curt was preceded in death by his brother, Jeff Scheuerman, mom, Jan Scheuerman, and biological mom, Sandra (Murphy) Scheuerman.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday February 5, 2022, at the Mt. Carroll Community Center, from 2PM -4PM. Please bring a Story/Memory to share. Also feel free to bring/share pictures. Snacks and light finger foods will be provided, as well as water and tea. Please RSVP by Friday February 4th 2022.
