Craig Michael Reece, 35, of Freeport, IL, passed away on November 11, 2024. He was born on May 9, 1989 in Freeport, to Michael Lee Reece and Connie Ann Beggin (Kronberg). Craig was a loving son, uncle, and father of two sons. He spent most of his career driving semi-trucks all across the United States, and recently worked as a bus driver for the Freeport School District and a truck driver for Gill's Freeport Disposal. In his younger years, he worked for many employers in the Freeport area, including I Pacesetters, Cannova's and Cimino's Pizza, and was a skate guard at Skate Station.

Craig attended both Aquin and Freeport high schools, was active in sports in his younger years, and was a cheerleader for FHS. He was a member of NJROTC. He participated in Marching Band, Choir, and Showtime productions, as well as a Winneshiek Theatre production of Frankenstein and a production of Cats at Highland College. Besides Highland, Craig also attended Carthage College in Kenosha WI, and Doña Ana College in Las Cruces NM. His majors were Music and Math. Craig was an amazing singer - he sang for weddings and other special events, and loved to sing karaoke with friends. His outgoing, colorful personality, love for life, and beautiful soul that was radiated to the world through his voice and his great love for others, will be deeply missed.

Survivors include his two sons: Adam Craig Reece and Rowan Christopher Reece; partner Brianna Golden, sister Stephanie Reece (Joe Palermo), parents: Michael & Kathy Reece and Connie & Joe Beggin, grandmother Marian Kronberg, nieces Ariana and Kadence Palermo, nephew Michael Palermo, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Donald & Patricia Reece, and grandfather Donald Kronberg.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday November 16, 2024 at 1 PM, with visitation from 10 AM to 12:45 PM, at the Schwarz Park Blvd Chapel, 608 S. Park Blvd in Freeport, IL. A celebration of Craig's life, including a Karaoke party in his honor, will be held at Eilert's, 1100 W. Galena Ave. in Freeport, IL following the memorial service. All friends & family are invited to attend.
