Christine Teresa Krob, 66, of Chicago, IL, passed away peacefully November 15, 2025. She was born on April 3, 1959 to Dorothy and Philip Schouten. Chris grew up on a farm in Dolton, IL with plenty of love and laughter. Her passion was Art and repotting plants and collecting Angels. She was very adventurous, out going, and the sky was the limit.

She is survived by her 5 children: Linea Krob, Jacob Krob, Jennifer Krob, Michael Krob, and Amy (Zebulon) Corbitt; her siblings: Theodore Schouten and his husband Dave Gervase, Kevin Schouten, and Gwendolyn Schouten; sister-in-law Josie Canchola.

She was preceded in death by Vince Schouten.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday November 30, 2025, from 5 PM - 7 PM, at the Schwarz Park Blvd Chapel, 608 S. Park Blvd in Freeport.
