Christine M. Dyson (67) died surrounded by her children at Central DuPage Hospital, Winfield, IL after a brief illness. Chris was born in Pearl City, IL on May 10, 1957 to John and Bernita (Runkle) Martin. She graduated from Freeport High School in 1975. She married Gregory Dyson Sr. in 1977 and they had three children together. She lived in Freeport and worked at The Manor, Vitner's, HB Plastics, and Heritage Woods. In her free time she enjoyed reading, working on her Diamond Dot Art projects, and spending time with her family. She also enjoyed her camping weekends with her friend since the 7th grade, Judy Sager.

Chris is survived by her three children, Sarah (Nathan) Imobersteg, Gregory Jr. (Deb) Dyson, and Jason (Rachel) Dyson; grandchildren: Alanna Imobersteg (Brady Heid), Mallory (Kolton) Loeffelholz, Ethan Imobersteg, Logan Dyson, Johnathon, Jaykub, Zaydden, Zander, Teigan, and Iyla Dyson, bonus grandchildren: Jordan Maraj, Alynna, Madalynn, and Tommy Downing, and two great grandchildren: Ames McKee and Zaylynn Dyson. She is survived by her siblings: John (Jack) (Cindy) Martin, James (Scrub) Martin, Beth Martin, Steven Martin, Scott Martin, Stuart (Melissa) Martin, Karen (Joseph) Hall, Kathryn (Christopher) Cronau, and many special nieces and nephews.

Chris is preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Mark Martin, Michael Martin, and Theresa (Munch) Martin.

Funeral Services will be Saturday, February 15, 2025 from 1:00 pm-5:00 pm at the Schwarz Park Blvd Chapel, 608 S. Park Blvd in Freeport. She will be laid to rest at a later date at Chapel Hill Cemetery.

A memorial fund will be established.
