Charles John Wachlin, 63, of Freeport, IL, and previously Tampa Bay, FL for 38 years, passed away on September 30, 2020 at home. He was born on December 19, 1956 in Freeport, to Charles and Ruth (Boatright) Wachlin.

Survivors include one sister, Carol Wilkinson; one brother, Frank Wachlin; 5 nephews, and 12 great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, brothers: Bobby Hall and Donald Wachlin, infant sister, Louise Martin, and step-father, Harold Martin.

A visitation will be held on Saturday October 3, 2020 from 4-6 PM, at Schwarz Funeral Home, 816 S. Galena Ave. in Freeport. A special thanks to FHN Hospice for everything they have done.
