Obituary

Charles "Chip" Durbin Jr, born June 13, 1963 , was born and raised in Chicago, and lived his whole life in the area.

He actively enjoyed street hockey and "fast pitch". At a young age, he learned to love cars by working at the Cangiolosi Garage. He was a street racer and drag strip racer, who loved his black '68' Camaro.He was an avid fan of the Cubs and Blackhawks.  He was known to have a quick wit, good sense of humor, and was an awesome guy and good friend.

He was the beloved brother of Donald (Teresa) Durbin Sr., Jeff Durbin, Ann (Charles) Jessee,  and the late William Durbin.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, the late Charles "Red" Durbin Sr. and the late Susan Downs.

He was the loving uncle of Tiffany (Rob) Bukowski, Donald Durbin Jr., Sean (Rachel) Durbin, Megan (Steve) Satalino, Luke Durbin, Erin Durbin, Emily Durbin, Chaz (Jessica) Durbin, Sarah (Brandon) Scott, Brittanie (Cody) Durbin, Paige (Anthony) Durbin. Uncle to many Grand nieces and nephews.
He was the nephew to Aunt Carol (cousins Lance and Howie) and Uncles Hill and Rick (cousin, Michael) and stepson of Randy Downs.

Due to Covid restrictions, a memorial service will be planned for a later date. Updates will be available on Chips Facebook page.

Chip trusted The Lord, as his Savior, and he would want you to do the same!
