Charlene Kay Williams, 80, of Freeport, IL, passed away on May 22, 2021 at Freeport Memorial Hospital. She was born on May 31, 1940 in St. Francis Hospital in Freeport, to Donald Robert and Ann Eva (Binter) Williams. She was a 1958 graduate of Aquin High School (never missed a day of school). She held classified positions in more than 13 years at the CIA, then did insurance work.

Survivors include her brother Donald Williams of Freeport; sister Constance (Lee) Eilers of Freeport, and their children: Jacqueline (James) Westphal, Christopher (Valerie) Eilers, and Jason (Kjersti) Eilers; sister Janean (Ed) Hallin of Indianola, IA, and their children: Zachary Hallin, Michael Hallin, and Briana Hallin; and 12 great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald R. Williams and Ann (Binter) Williams, and her dear grandmother Anna Binter.

A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday June 1, 2021 at 10:30 AM, with visitation at 9:30 AM, at St. Mary Catholic Church, 704 S. State Ave in Freeport, IL, with Father Timothy Barr officiating. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, 2340 W. Stephenson St, also in Freeport, IL.
