Chad Michael Cummins, age 32, passed away on July 31, 2024 at Freeport Memorial Hospital. He was born on April 29, 1992, in Freeport, IL to Jay and Kathy Cummins. He was a 2010 graduate of Freeport Senior High School, and a 2013 graduate of Highland Community College.

He is survived by his parents, Jay Cummins (Sheila) and Kathy Marshall (Gregg); a sister, Kelsey Wheat (Kory) and half-brother Zac Cummins. Also, stepsisters Nikki Marshall (Jesse Clark), Tiffany Marshall, Kelli Grauden (Joshua), Kendra Rowe (Josh), and stepbrothers Kyle Dornink (Amy) and Keith Marshall (Charlie). Also many nieces, nephews, Aunts, Uncles and cousins.

Chad is preceded in death by his Paternal Grandparents, Lyle and Jane Cummins; Maternal Grandparents, Darryl and Janet Bausman.

Chad was sports minded, playing tennis, working out, and even completed a Tough Mudder race, "which was the hardest thing he even did". He was a St. Louis Cardinals fan, Golden State Warriors fan and Green Bay Packers fan. He enjoyed playing fantasy football each year with his friends. Chad loved to listen to music and dance. He would often be the center of attention without even trying because of his infectious smile and
made everyone feel like his friend.

Family and friends are invited to the Schwarz Park Boulevard Chapel located at 608 Park Blvd, Freeport, IL on Saturday August 24, 2024 for visitation from 1pm-3pm followed by a short ceremony to honor and reminisce the life of Chad.
