Cay Marie (Ranken) Pasch, 71, of Freeport, IL passed away Sunday, November 2, 2025 after a brief illness. Cay was born on August 20, 1954 to Wallace and Doris (Vail) Ranken in Belvidere, IL. After attending Freeport High School Cay graduated from La Molo Beauty School in Freeport. Later, Cay would dedicate her career to working with children and adults with developmental disabilities. In 1975 Cay married Keith Pasch and they went on to have 3 children.  In January 2025, Cay and Keith celebrated 50 years of marriage. Cay loved fishing, gardening and spending time with her grandchildren.

Cay was preceded in death by her father Wallace "Boots" Ranken, her mother, Doris (Vail) Ranken, brother-in-law Bill Campbell, brother Don Ranken, sister-in-law Vernetta (Poe) Ranken, brother Ted Ranken, and mother-in-law Irma Pasch.

She is survived by her husband Keith, sisters Judy Campbell, Lori (Tom) Harman, children Jason (Marjorie Lewis) Pasch, Justin (Christina) Pasch, Amber (Dustin) Dale and grandchildren, Simon Pasch, Keziah Pasch, Salome Pasch, Qian Pasch, Samuel Pasch, Maxwell Pasch, Joseph Pasch, Reed Dale, Mathias Dale and Ashton Dale, as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to Friends Forever Humane Society in Freeport.

Visitation will be held November 16 from 2-4 pm at Schwarz Park Blvd Chapel 608 S. Park Blvd in Freeport.
