Britten James Fredrick Clankie, 16, of Freeport, IL, passed away on May 20, 2021. He was born on June 24, 2004 in Freeport, to Trever Clankie and Christina Jacobs. He attended Freeport High School.

Survivors include his mother Christina Jacobs, father Trever Clankie, sisters: Heavenlee, Karalynn, Emma, and Ariana; brothers: Trever and Brayden; great-grandparent Carolyn Lapp, Joyce Miche; grandparents Julia Jacobs and David Miche, several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends Devonte, Davar, and Dylon.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Karen and Tom Clankie, and Aunt Tracy.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday May 27, 2021 at 12 noon, with visitation from 10 AM until time of service, at the Schwarz Park Blvd Chapel, 608 S. Park Blvd in Freeport, IL, with Hennie Oosthuizen officiating.
