Brian Warren Meligan, 68, of Freeport, IL, passed away on January 3, 2026 at home. He was born in Belvidere, IL, to Delores Roser and George Meligan. He worked as a cook and musician. He was a member of United Methodist Church and had been in the National Guard.

He is survived by Brian E. Meligan, Brian Meligan, Jr, Jessa Meligan, Robert John Meligan, Susan Clankie of Tennessee, Isaiah Meligan of Beloit, WI, Colleen Stoller of Beloit, WI, Brad Meligan, David Meligan of Beloit, Laurie Rodriques of Beloit, A.J. Lawrence of Freeport, and Cristina Paulson of Freeport.

He was preceded in death by Delores Meligan (Roser) and George Meligan.

There will be a memorial service on Saturday January 17, 2026 at 12 noon, at the Overflowing Cup, 1175 South Madison Rd in Beloit, WI.
