Betty Alice Yunek, 88, of Freeport, IL, passed away on November 6, 2023 at Stephenson Nursing Center. She was born on November 24, 1934 Holcomb, IL, to Roy Lincoln Funk and Frances Ruby (Pagel) Funk. She had worked in health care, food service, and was a devoted selfless mother.

Survivors include her children: Betsy Lappin, Ivon Chamberlain, Joyce (Jeff) Wartgow, Patrice Dilworth, Roberta (Jeff) Suess, and Dorothy (Gary) Kazuk; 10 grandchildren, 6 bonus grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 11 bonus great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings: Marion Jaschek, Annalee Gray, Lester Funk, Lucille Clark, and Albert Funk.
