Beatrice Jane Rahn (Betty) 1929-2024

Betty Rahn, 95 of Lena, IL passed away April 5th, 2024, peacefully in her sleep with her family at her side.  She was born in Freeport on February 24, 1929 to Carl & Hilda Lyon.

Betty was raised in Freeport.  In 1955 she moved with her two boys to California. In November 2019 she moved back to Illinois be closer to her family.

Betty worked as an electric motor winder for 40 plus years.

She is loved and will be greatly missed.

Betty is survived by her son Dennis, daughter-in-law Stevie, grandson Marc and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 3-sisters: Doris, Mary Ellen, Norma, 2-brothers: Earl and Carl and one son: Carl.

Per her wishes, cremation rites have been accorded and no funeral services will be held.
