Barnetta Jordan, 62, of Freeport, IL, passed away on May 8, 2025 at home. She was born in Forest City, Arkansas, to Fred Lee Ishmon, Sr and Floncie Mae Rodgers. She married Willie B. Jordan in 1982 in Freeport at Friendship Church. She was a daycare provider and member of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church.

Survivors include her son, Willie B. Jordan III, 3 daughters: Latishcia Ishmon (Dean), Bridgette Jordan (Edwin), and LeKeesha Porter (Bobby); 4 brothers: Fred Jr (Joanne), Willie (Stacey), Angelo and Darrin (Trish); 1 sister Katrenia (Steve), 16 grandkids: 7 great grandkids, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and god daughter Danadia Ishmon.

She was preceded in death by her husband Willie B. Jordan Jr, father Fred Lee Ishmon, Sr, mother Floncie Mae Ishmon, 2 sisters: Stephanie Ishmon and Virginia Allen, 2 nephews: Jo' Vontae and Te'Juron.

A service will be held on Saturday May 17, 2025 at 1 PM, with visitation at 11 AM until time of service, at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church. Rev. Rickey Stidman will officiate.
