Barbara "Barbie" Anne Barncord, 68, of Forreston, Illinois, passed away on February 9, 2022. Barbie was born August 2, 1953, to Edwin and Barbara (nee Grochowski) Reilly in Chicago. Barbie married John "Jack" Barncord, Sr. on December 12, 2004, in Morrison, Illinois. Barb and Jack spent 25 wonderful years together and went on many adventures together, including being active with Illinois Abate and most recently taking up RVing. Barbie loved the outdoors and spending time with her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Barbie's family will always remember how they enjoyed the summer BBQs, where her cooking and laughter brought smiles to all.

Barbie was preceded in death by her father Edwin, sister Susan Huge, brothers Michael and Frank, and grandson Drew Crase.

Barbie is survived by her husband John "Jack" Barncord, Sr.; mother Barbara Reilly; sister Sandra (John) Brodnicki; daughter Christine Johnson, grandson Zackary Schorn, great grandson Chase Schorn; grandson Joshua Schorn, great grandchildren Bentley, Greyson and Evelyn; granddaughter Kayla Schorn; son Joseph Walker, partner Tamara Tallman, granddaughter Nikie Sickles, great granddaughter Octavia Townsend, grandchildren Troy Walker, Marley Walker, Abbigail Walker, Luke Walker, and Kandice Tallman; stepson John (Jodie) Barncord Jr., stepdaughter Jennifer (Timothy) Groom, grandchildren Skyler Barncord, Jake Groom, Brayden Wierzycki, Ethan Groom, Samuel Groom, Hayleigh Barncord, and Peyton Crase; and great-grandchildren Carter and Hudson Stichter. Barbie is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Visitation is from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, February 14, 2022 at the Schwarz Park Blvd Chapel, 608 S. Park Blvd., Freeport Illinois.

Funeral service is Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 1400 Kiwanis Dr., Freeport, Illinois. Gathering/visitation will be held at 9:30 a.m. Mass will begin at 10:30 a.m.
