Arney R. Mesnard, Jr, 90, of Freeport, IL, passed away on March 3, 2026. He was born on September 8, 1935 in Chicago, IL, to Arney R. Mesnard, Sr and Fernell (Fink) Mesnard. He married Lynne Mesnard in Schaumburg, IL. He was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Lions International, American Legion, and Moose Lodge.

Survivors include his daughter June Smith (Pat) of Scottsdale, AZ, son Alan Mesnard of Los Angeles, CA, stepdaughter Beth Nagel (Dave) of Shannon, IL, sister Sherry Fine (Bob) of Fox River Grove, IL, 5 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Lynne Mesnard.
