Arlene J. Koeller, 87, of Lanark, IL, passed away on Wednesday, May 21st, 2025.

Arlene was born May 12, 1938, in Stephenson County to the late George and Margaret (Janssen) Schrader. Arlene married Fay Koeller on February 25th, 1959 at the Bethel Church in Shannon.

Arlene and Fay started their own business of trucking, excavating, septic installation, and tiling in Carroll County. Arlene managed the office for the business for 40 years.

Arlene was active in the community, participated in many committees, and volunteered countless hours. She enjoyed traveling the country with her late husband in their camper. She loved planting flowers and gardens, line dancing, and spending quality time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her three sons, Korey Koeller of Lanark, Kevin (Tina) Koeller of Winston-Salem, N.C., and Kyle Koeller of Shannon; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren; sister Elaine Hull of Denver, CO; and brothers Larry (Bert) Schrader of Surprise, AZ and Lonnie (Wendy) Schrader of Freeport.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Carol and Lorraine; brothers, Garry, Leslie, and Donald; and her husband Fay Koeller.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 31st, 2025 at the Russell-Frank Funeral Home, 111 N. High St in Lanark, IL at 11 AM. There will be a visitation prior to the service from 9 AM to 11 AM also at the Russell-Frank Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Ebenezer Cemetery on Stone Church Road in Pearl City.
