Amy Catherine Dikkers, 42, of Freeport, passed away on February 1, 2020 at Mercy Health, Rockford, IL. Born in Monroe, WI on September 5, 1977, Amy was the daughter of Timothy and Catherine (Quinn) Hoefle. She married Brendt W. Dikkers on June 7, 2008 at Cedarville United Methodist Church, Cedarville, IL. Amy worked as a massage therapist for several years and recently began working for Metlife Auto and Home. As Amy greatly gave love in life, so she greatly gave love in death, donating her organs so others may have a chance to love as greatly as she did.
She is survived by her husband Brendt Dikkers; Sons Kaden R. Yaun and Peyton R. Dikkers; her parents; father and mother-in-law, Gene and Kim Dikkers; sisters Heather Hoefle, Freeport, Amanda (Todd) Degner, Pecatonica, brother Luke (Kelly) Hoefle, Loveland, CO; and sister-in-law, Nicole (Anthony) Manthei, Pearl City, IL. Also, many, many dear Aunts, Uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Amy was preceded in death by maternal and paternal grandparents.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday February 8, 2020 at 12 noon, with a visitation from 10 AM until time of service, at New Life Bible Church, 2285 N. Hoisington Rd in Pecatonica, IL. A visitation will be held on Friday February 7, 2020 from 3 PM to 7 PM, at the Schwarz Park Blvd. Chapel, 608 S. Park Blvd. in Freeport, IL.
A memorial has been established in her name.
