Alfreda Marie Turner, age 71, born May 29, 1951 in Chicago, IL, to James Griffin Jones and Rose Marie Williams. Both preceded her in death. Alfreda received her wings, Wednesday April 26, 2023 at 11:15 AM, at the Pearl Pavilion Home in Freeport, IL. Alfreda Marie attended Fisk Elementary and A.O. Sefton Upper Grade, and graduated from Hyde Park High School in 1969.
Alfreda Marie Jones and (LeRoy)Turner, whom preceded her in death, married February 14, 1976. They conceived two children: daughter Nina Bass who preceded her in death, and a son Luron Turner.
Alfreda Marie after High School, started her career G.E. Hotpoint. She received Christ at Holy Cross Catholic Church. Alfreda was a member of Liberty Temple Full Gospel Church in Chicago, IL.
Alfreda Marie Turner is survived by her son Luron Turner, sister Lyndria Jones Long (Michael Long, Sr.) her granddaughters Brittany, Mahagony Bass, and Lakyra Turner; and grandsons Luron Turner and Lavaghn Turner.
